How To Unclog Brass Misting Nozzles?

May 05, 2024

When the brass atomizing nozzle is clogged, you can try the following methods to clear it:

1. Check and clean the small holes: First, check whether only some small holes in the nozzle are blocked. If so, you can use a needle to pick out the dirt in the nozzle. But please note that you should take care to keep your hands safe during the cleaning process.
2. Disassembly and cleaning: If the nozzle is seriously clogged, you can consider disassembling the nozzle for cleaning. Nozzles that have been used for many years may cause scale to accumulate on the filter, causing blockage. Disassemble and clean the connection between the filter and the handle to quickly and directly deal with the clogging problem.
3. Use vinegar: Vinegar is acidic and can remove stains. Pour the vinegar into the basin so that the entire brass atomizing nozzle is completely immersed in it. After soaking in vinegar for ten minutes, the scale in the nozzle can be removed.
4. Use rust-removing lubricant: If the nozzle is blocked by metal rust, it is recommended to use rust-removing lubricant. Rust-removing lubricants make the metal more permeable and help remove clogs.

When trying the above methods, please note the following:

1. Safe operation: During the cleaning process, wear appropriate personal protective equipment, such as gloves and goggles, to protect your own safety.
2. Check the nozzle: Before cleaning, carefully check the appearance of the nozzle for obvious damage or wear, and check whether there is any blockage inside the nozzle.
3. Keep it clean: In order to avoid the nozzle becoming clogged again, the nozzle should be cleaned regularly and ensure it remains dry.

If none of the above methods can clear the nozzle, or the nozzle is seriously damaged, it is recommended to replace it with a new brass atomizing nozzle.
